Stomp 2007 Chardonnay
This elegant chardonnay displays citrus, white peach and nectarine characters. Regular lees stirring whilst in oak (winemakers speak for stirring the wine whilst it is still in barrel and in contact with the yeast) has also created some interesting creamy, nutty characters. This rich and mellow Chardonnay has great balance, smooth texture and a lengthy finish. It is an ideal accompaniment to most foods including chicken, red meats, seafood and creamy pasta dishes.
