I’d like to say I’m a descendent of a long list of winemaking legends or I’ve worked in the family winery since I took my first steps. Truth is, although I’ve been fascinated with wine all my life, it wasn’t until I was in my late twenties that I decided I could make it. So, whilst still working in process engineering, my time at home was spent in the laundry. No, I wasn’t doing my washing, our laundry doubled as a winery! And the poor neighbours doubled as critics as they were coerced to taste my latest drop. Thankfully, now with some real training, a real winery & having experienced too many vintages to mention, drinks with the neighbours have become a little more sophisticated!
Passionate about all I do in life, from playing the saxophone (okay, really badly) or playing soccer in the paddock with the kids (think Beck’s with less hair), I am passionate about the creation and survival of unique wines. Hence, our range of wines.
The philosophy behind these wines is to create premium quality boutique wines that are exceptional value, have strong regional character and are wines you can have some fun with. Hence our motto -
live it... love it... stomp!
